Helping you break growth plateaus and get more clients with strategic brand and web design.✨

These 6 website mistakes will RUIN your conversions. ⤵️ Improve these things, and you will see better results immediately. 1. Multiple Call to Actions Too many call to actions confuse your viewer and they will end up not doing anything at all. → Decide on the one goal you have for your website (sales, inquiries, booked calls, etc), and keep it consistent on your site. 2. A generic About Section Having an about section that just shows your 4 mediocre "company values" does NOTHING for you. People buy from people, you need to make the viewer feel like they know and trust you. → Share a little about yourself, your experiences, background, and why you started doing what you do. 3. Too many stock images Landing on a website full of stock images makes me feel like you're a scam. →Invest in photography of yourself, your team, and images of you working, props, etc. 4. Walls of Texts People have no time or energy to read your novel. Large chunks of text are intimidating, boring, and often say a whole lot of nothing. → Distill your copy down to only what is absolutely necessary to get them to convert. 5. No Testimonials / Social Proof Showcasing past client experiences is ESSENTIAL for winning more business. → Sprinkle testimonials throughout your website, especially in sections highlighting your offer. 🌟 Bonus tip- Pull quotes from testimonials and use them as headlines. 6. Misaligned / Unorganized Content If your website looks like a DIY mashup of all sorts of misaligned elements, it makes for a poor experience. → Start by adding space between every section so that all content has its own space to breathe. Add universal margins, and unify your text sizes. You work SO HARD to get people to your website, don't let it fall flat! ___ I'm Andie- I help business owners break out of growth plateaus and get more out of their brand and website. ✨ Follow me for more branding + website design tips. 🔔

Helping you break growth plateaus and get more clients with strategic brand and web design.✨

Here’s the harsh truth about your logo: It doesn’t matter that much. (At least not as much as you think it does) The thing is, your visual identity is just that, an identity. Just as your own physical appearance is your identity. But how many times have you heard the saying, “it’s about what’s on the inside” When it comes to your brand- it is the same thing. Business owners often make the mistake of putting so much pressure on their logo, that they forget about what’s on the inside. When was the last time you looked at a random logo and you thought “wow… I really resonate with that” So Here are 3 things that are FAR MORE IMPORTANT than your logo when it comes to your branding. 1. Understanding your ideal clients Make a list of everyone you’ve loved working with, and analyze what they have in common, their pros/cons, how much money they spent with you, what they were like to work with, etc. Now list off their demographics (age, gender, location..) And their psychographics (likes, dislikes, hobbies, fears, problems…) 2. Your positioning. Be fully aware of where you fit in the lineup of your competitors Understand your unique selling point and what makes you/your offer different 3. Your Messaging Now that you know your ideal clients, unique selling point and positioning, you need to craft messaging that resonates with that ideal client, and is aligned with your positioning and unique selling point. Figure out the “tone” of your brand messaging. Are you friendly, authoritative, conversational, informative, relatable… And start speaking to them directly. So now that you know the 3 things that are more important than your logo… don’t make the same mistakes I see so many business owners make; which is to skip the important stuff to get to the visual stuff. The visual stuff only works when you put meaning behind it that makes them want to remember you. _______ I'm Andie, a brand and web designer helping business owners double their leads, awareness and confidence. ✨

Brands that give a sh*t. Let’s be real- picking up your dogs 💩 isn’t fun. And using single use plastic isn’t fun either. So for a few years now, I have been using Earth Rated poo bags. They have options that are compostable or made from recycled plastic, which is a huge selling point for me. ♻️ The bags are reliable (no holes please!), and aren’t paper thin where you feel things you don’t want to 🙅🏼♀️ And above all, they PAY ATTENTION. They understand how annoying it is to run out of bags on walk… The paranoid look over your shoulder hoping no one is watching you leave your dogs 💩 in someone’s yard… So they added a “3 bags left” sticker as a warning. A simple, yet ingenious way to make their products that much more memorable, useful, and worth the extra cash. ✨ This is what having a strong brand is. It’s the values you hold that connect with your consumers, over delivering on quality, and creating lasting experiences that make people come back, time & time again. Now, it’s time for me to look for small areas where I can add a “3 bags left” sticker somewhere in my client process. 👀 —— I'm Andie Baker, A brand and website designer helping business owners build awareness and get more leads. Helping you break growth plateaus and get more clients with strategic brand and web design.✨

My mom was a single mom of 4, and a success business owner all my life. Up until a few years ago, she owned a full-service salon, called Hair Dynamics. I’d go there when I played hooky from school 🤓 , and would eat the cookies, sleep in the massage room, and talk to all of her clients like they were my friends. Starting at around 12 year old; if I wanted something, my mom would tell me that I could work at the salon to save money for it. 💸 I would have to sweep hair, wash & fold towels, clean display shelves, take inventory, call and confirm appointments (a very analogue process compared to todays text reminders!) and whatever random task she would give me. Looking back, I know my mom was just busy raising 4 kids and trying to save money, and she took it as an opportunity to get some extra stuff done around the salon… but to me… It gave me responsibility, integrity, and confidence. It empowered me to know that I can work hard for the things I want. I am grateful every day that my mom made me “work” for what I wanted. And you know what, I have NO CLUE what I spent that money on… But I certainly remember all the time I spent at her salon. So for funsies, I made a website for Hair Dynamics. ✨ The color palette is inspired by the colors in the pattern on the lobby chairs. The typeface evokes feels elegant, but strong. And although the images aren’t of the actual salon back then, I am inspired to go and find some to look back on. 😊 ---- I'm Andie Baker. 🚨 Stop wasting your time trying to get your DIY website template to work for you. Chances are, it won’t ever work for you. At least, not like it should be working for you. Your website is your 24/7 salesperson. Does your current website do the selling for you? Or does it have a lot of text boxes & stock images that say a whole lot of nothin’? Your messaging and flow of content on your website is vital to getting more people to book a call… make an appointment… schedule a service… What if you had a brand and website that is so good that when people landed on it, they sold themselves? ✨ You’d probably be able to save time on trying to chase your next client, so that you could spend more time doing an even better job for your current ones. DM if you want me to give you a free audit to see where you could be losing potential clients 🔎

Helping you break growth plateaus and get more clients with strategic brand and web design.✨

I helped Brett double his leads– without increasing his Google Ad spend. Wanna know how? Through a strategic website redesign that focused on his business’s unique selling points, building a connection with his audience, and making the website easy to navigate. Brett owns an exterior cleaning / power washing business outside of Nashville, TN. The market is very saturated; everyone is running Google Ads, clogging their websites full of SEO keywords, and getting hundreds of 5-star reviews. The problem for Brett was… How do we stand out from the rest when everyone is copying each other and doing the same marketing efforts? We had to dissect what his unique selling point was. And what we found was something so simple, and often overlooked. He is owner-operated. He is the one that shows up to the jobsite. No employees, no fleet trucks, just Brett. People now see his face on the homepage of the site, and supportive copy like: "From your initial quote to end of service, Brett will be the one to take care of your home or business." His potential clients immediately trust him more. They know exactly who is going to show up to their home and get the job done. All of these other companies are larger, hiring many technicians and have a fleet of trucks, and have headlines like "Get your driveway cleaned!" When you compare that to Brett over at Boro’s Best Wash… It becomes the obvious choice. Go with the guy that feels trustworthy, reliable, and offers quality service, easy to get a hold of, and has loyal, annual clients. Our unique differences are often not what service we are providing, But in how we run our businesses. ___________ Want to see similar results for your small business? DM me.

Helping you break growth plateaus and get more clients with strategic brand and web design.✨

When was the last time you read every word on your website? For me, it was about 2 years… So, I decided it was time to refresh my website and content to better suit the type of clients that I love to work with, what I offer, and the benefits of working with me. On top of that, I felt like I had a misalignment in my brand. AH! A brand designer having a misalignment in her own brand!! Ya, zip it. 🤫 Brands evolve and grow, just as people do. 😊 My misalignment was that my business name (Little Rhino Design Co.) did not connect with anything else in the brand. It felt out of place. To connect my business name, I wanted some branded copywriting that instills small moments, puns, and connections to the safari, wildlife, exhibitions, etc. In order to achieve these copywriting goals, I had the pleasure of annoying Dylan Hinton with all of my many ideas. She, of course, delivered the best words I have ever read. Here are just some of the headlines Dylan wrote for me: 🌟 “What if your branding and website could lead the pack, instead of getting lost in the herd?” 🌟“Ready to blaze a new trail with your brand?” 🌟“Juggling your business demands while your brand’s true potential remains untamed?” 🌟“It’s time to upgrade your website from a jungle to a jewel.” I now feel like my website is stronger than ever, and not because it looks nice (which it does, thank you 💁♀️ ), but because I had a professional copywriter bring my ideas, unique selling points, and positioning statements all together. So go read your website content, and if you decide you may need a refresh like me, DM me! Dylan and I are a power team that can do all this for you too!
