    4 Years Ago, I was sleeping on a friend's couch after my father kicked me out; This Week I've made $11k and generated my clients 5x that in commission.     "The MLS Sucks" That's what a lot of realtors say, and it's partly true but not entirely. The MLS is like going to Target: When you walk in, you expect to see everything in stock, organized and available. Now imagine shopping for houses without a list. What would you do? Cold call and pray? That sounds awful. Sure, the MLS has strict rules and can be frustrating, but its core feature - a centralized listing database - is absolutely necessary for buyers. Think about it: Without MLS, we'd be back to driving around neighborhoods hoping to spot "For Sale" signs. Yes, the MLS could be better. But having a organized system beats having no system at all.

    Uncle Sam is coming for Real Estate even after the $418m Lawsuit What they are looking at now is the Clear Cooperation Policy "The Clear Cooperation Policy (CCP) is a rule that requires realtors to list properties on a Multiple Listing Service (MLS) within one business day of public marketing" - Google Is it going to involve another $418m? Probably not however, This may introduce another major to change to Real Estate. Will the MLS finally relax the rules? Let me know in the comments

The Bob Knakal Baseball Card. Picture siting down at a serious New York Networking event, asking for a business card and being handed a massive cardboard baseball card. Now that's something you won’t forget. The goal of marketing is to be remembered; the goal of branding is to be unique in a good way. This simple marketing trick did that both beautifully but it does more than just help them remember. The baseball card brings them back.
