Kim Zierath just reached her 15-year milestone with Linea! Here is what she had to say about the occasion: “When I joined Linea 15 years ago, we were a team of fewer than 20 employees. Today, we’ve grown exponentially, yet I am genuinely impressed by how we have preserved our 'small company' culture even as we’ve evolved beyond our original size. Our commitment to core values continues to support our consultants' well-being and strengthens our dedication to delivering high-quality services to our clients. Linea remains a close-knit, collaborative environment that fosters innovation, consistency, and excellence in every client engagement. I am proud to be part of the Linea family.” Linea's co-founder Brian Colker added: "Kim has set the standard for what we strive for in our consulting work: she’s hard working, professional, and (even) fun to work with. She’s been an invaluable team member and we wouldn’t be where we are without her. Congratulations on 15 years!" Congratulations on reaching 15 years with Linea, Kim!

Thanks very much to our first day speakers from Linea Secure, SBCERA, and many other member organizations! Our #NCPERSUniversity for trustee education program depends on contributions from engaged members like you. #publicpensions #fiduciarytrainings
The Program for Advanced Trustee Studies (PATS), part of NCPERS University, is held immediately before the Public Safety Conference. This intensive learning program--designed for #publicpension trustees and staff--features a deep dive on two key topics. The first day of this year's program focused in on AI, Bots, and Automation. https://lnkd.in/eghM8cM4 Today's program began with an introduction to artificial intelligence, as Linea Solutions' Akio Tagawa, Nathan Haws, and Heath Simpson covered key terminology and concepts to help trustees better understand AI's role and potential uses within their organizations. SBCERA's Joseph Michael then joined Akio and Nate to explore the current state of #AI in the public pension industry, reviewing case studies and sharing real-world examples to demonstrate how AI can boost efficiencies and enhance data and technical capabilities within #publicpensions. Next, Linea Secure's Peter Dewar and Nate reviewed the risks and challenges tied to Generative AI, emphasizing data privacy and security concerns. They also reviewed ethical issues such as bias and transparency. Linea's Madison Rose and Heath then taught attendees how to effectively communicate with AI chatbots by crafting clear and precise prompts. They shared tips and best practices for achieving desired outcomes when working with AI tools. The next session focused on #governance and oversight of AI initiatives, highlighting how to establish robust AI policies and develop effective AI governance frameworks. Finally, attendees got to put their knowledge to the test in an interactive, Jeopardy-style trivia challenge. Thank you to today's speakers for sharing their expertise with PATS attendees! #publicpensions #fiduciarytrainings #NCPERSUniversity
