Make way for the Ugly Sweater King📯 Each December, our US Consumer & Shopper Engagement team hosts an ugly holiday sweater contest, but when Drew Paradis joined for the first time in 2011, it quickly became apparent that they were in the presence of sweater royalty. After being crowned the winner five years in a row, his colleagues politely agreed to change the name of the contest to “The Official Drew Paradis Ugly Sweater Contest” if he would abdicate the throne. 👑 Even so, Drew still dreams up a new holiday-themed outfit every year to spread joy throughout the department and inspire colleagues to be even more creative with their own holiday attire. This year's regal look, a cape featuring sweaters past, may just be the crown jewel in his expansive collection! The 2024 competition brought many hilarious and playful outfits, and after much deliberation, we’re proud to introduce the royal court: Greg K. , Taylor Fluckiger, and Peter Kochanek , who came dressed as the sweater king himself! A couple of weeks ago I was at a storytelling event, and on two occasions people said congratulations, when I told them I work for the LEGO Group. I was a bit taken aback that they both used the word 'Congratulations' but I was also humbled to be working for a company that is so well known and loved. So, I don't do a lot of posts in here, but I'm having a really good time at the LEGO Group. Great team, great co-workers (I've decided to stop calling them "colleagues", because it's a pain to spell that word) and I get to combine my love for building digital stuff with my childish nature.
