Daisy Award honoree, ICU nurse Ben, was recognized by a family member for the care and patience he demonstrated to an autistic patient in his care and 3 Main nurse Susan, was nominated for the award by two patients noting how she "handled each new situation with grace and a calm demeanor. It was a jolly good time at Friday's annual Jingle Run in Lakewood Ranch. There were festive activities, including snow machines and holiday music, before the runners gathered at the starting point where LWRMC Interim CEO, Philip Reber and his daughters, thanked everyone for participating in the 5K Run/Walk. A portion of the proceeds benefits nursing scholarships at the hospital.
