Be sure to visit Project Spectrum for free, DoD-endorsed CMMC compliance resources at ProjectSpectrum.io. A few highlights from the latest Project Spectrum blog:
🛡️ Review Scoping Guidance to confirm your SSP covers all in-scope systems and components.
🛡️Ensure all Assessment Objectives (NIST SP 800-171A) are fully documented.

It's Official! #CMMC 2.0 completed its 60-day Congressional Review period
without any changes. Rulemaking is now complete and the new program is in effect. Companies should now begin working towards their CMMC certifications and C3PAOs can begin assessments in accordance with the guidance in the rule.
Just a reminder, CMMC requirements will not be included in DoD contracts
until the DFARS is revised through a 48 CFR rule change is complete and
effective. At that time we will begin a 3-year phased implementation.

FSRS.gov is retiring in March of 2025 and plans are made to stand up all new subaward reporting capabilities in SAM.gov at the same time.
FSRS stands for The Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act Subaward Reporting System, and its website is mostly used for subaward performance reporting and subaward performance review searching (also available at USASpending.gov).
Learn more about the change at https://buff.ly/4gshJuF.

Other conversations during the forum will be around how GSA uses customer experience to design the new and improvement capabilities coming to SAM.gov.
