Meeting your customers where they are may take a little extra time, but it's worth it to provide a higher level of service and avoid situations like these:
A video went viral of a restaurant hostess pushing back on a customer to “train customers not to ask dumb questions.” Nightmare fuel for a CX leader, sure, but the commenters could all relate to the struggle of helping a customer who needed extra assistance.
