    As the world’s first to bring in life sized, full scale immersive meshes. We’re opening new doors for our customers. No CAD model, no problem. Only drone footage? That works, too! It’s not just about viewing though. It’s about doing. Planning. Coordinating. All of those tricky up front things that make or break the job. As the first to view immersive mesh capabilities, this also means we’re first to offer our customers without 3D CAD models the power to conduct tabletop discussions and simulations around complex job and task planning from just a quick scan of their site. This way they know they’re ready for the work before the first JSA is signed.     We were the first to bring 3D BIM/CAD and point clouds into the immersive VR space. VR invites you to get close to things. You’ve got hands! So why not go hands-on. Herein lies the problem with point clouds. Getting close. Remember when we said they had their limits? When you approach point cloud objects, their surfaces tend to look like…points. Not solid objects. At times, it was like you were looking through a hazy lens. So we set out to give users clarity with a more realistic, lifelike experience. Today, we launch a new generation of game changing capabilities on #stratus! Bringing another world's first in #realitycapture, today we jump from point clouds to solid objects.     We were the world’s first to bring fully automated ingestion of CAD models and laser scans into the immersive VR space. Since then, we’ve delivered loads of value to our greenfield and brownfield customers as they quickly exposed flaws in their retrofit designs or planned maintenance work without stepping foot in the field. Point clouds have played a big part in that value especially for existing facilities. And while point clouds are useful and SUPER precise, they have limits.
