Kafka Granite is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1979 by Glenn Kafka. From our origin as a supplier of decomposed granite road material, we have grown into one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of specialty decorative aggregates and crushed stone in the United States. Our architectural aggregates, decomposed granite, boulders, and other quarried products are used for many applications including landscaping stone, terrazzo tile, architectural precast concrete, decorative landscape boulders, stabilized decomposed granite, baseball infield mixes, pathway mixes, epoxy resin tile, and other types of floor tile. Our goal is to provide our customers with a consistent, high quality stone product and to ensure the delivery of our products in a timely manner.

On any given weekday, you will see Kafka Granite LLC trucks roll through downtown Mosinee dozens of times a day, moving rock to and from our state-of-art crushing facility located just west of town. Last night, just one Kafka truck rolled by, and the only thing it was delivering was Christmas cheer! Christmastime is so magical through the eyes of a child, and nothing makes my kids’ eyes light up quiet like the Mosinee Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Christmas Parade. Last night was extra magical when we saw our very own Kafka Granite LLC parade truck strung with lights.✨ Very grateful to Kafka driver Cory Seis representing Kafka Granite this year’s parade, and all the hard work he and his family put into dressing the quad up. A special thank you to Terra Plaisance for coordinating this special tradition for our community. We are so proud to call Mosinee home!
