Last month, JP moms, alumni, kids, staff, community partners, and friends gathered in Baltimore, MD, for our fourth annual summit! Themed “The Power of Community,” the event brought together moms and alumni from all nine campuses to celebrate the JP sisterhood.

Economic mobility for single moms and their children is about having more choices. It means fewer moments when choosing yourself is at the expense of opportunities for your kids. Ethelind B. JP National Governing Board member Jeremy Wheaton shares what brought him to JP and the importance of 529 college savings accounts for JP children.

See what some of our campuses have been up to lately. 🧡 The Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses celebrated with 500 people at their annual Bash, raising over $440,000 to support JP families. JP Las Vegas moms attended a Day at City Hall. They were hosted by Councilwoman and JP Las Vegas Board Chair Nancy Brune. JP Baltimore held their annual Sip & Paint night for moms and their kiddos. Skelly Build, a local woman-owned construction company, hosted a Thanksgiving dinner and activities for JP Austin families. JP Brooklyn gathered for a heartfelt Friendsgiving celebration, and PBS Kids Media provided books and materials for the kids to enjoy. JP Boston families celebrated their second annual Fall Festival! JP St. Paul kids learned about the importance of making their voices heard during a mock election. Each child voted in secret for their favorite color, yellow or green, and YELLOW took the day!
