Here is a short reminder of what happened at the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza: During an Israel Defense Forces operation a few days ago targeting a Hamas command center located inside the hospital, 240 terrorists were arrested, 15 of whom participated in the October 7th Massacre. As part of the operation, the forces safely evacuated civilians from the hospital area. The area near the hospital remains an active combat zone, rigged with booby traps and explosives set by terrorists. The operation was carried out following extensive intelligence-gathering efforts by the Intelligence Directorate and the ISA. These efforts indicated the presence of hundreds of terrorists in the vicinity of the hospital. This was one of the largest operations to apprehend terrorists in a single location since the war began. Several terrorists attempted to pose as patients, with some even hiding in ambulances. Among those apprehended, 15 were identified as having infiltrated Israeli territory and participated in the October 7th Massacre. There are currently approx. 800 trucks worth of aid waiting to be collected from the Gazan side of the Kerem Shalom Crossing. Aid enters Gaza consistently, with no limits on the amount — it is entirely dependent on the capacity of the United Nations aid organizations to collect and distribute the aid from the Kerem Shalom Crossing. Other organizations collect and distribute aid constantly, so should - and could - the UN aid organizations. COGAT

On October 7th, our civilians were butchered—young and old alike. Our healthcare workers were murdered while tending to the wounded. Our children were shot and burned alive; some of them witnessed their parents being executed. Over 250 men, women, and children were kidnapped to Gaza. A hundred of them remain there, tortured. We will not let the UN—or anyone—forget about them. They are NOT A TARGET.

Since October 7th, the Houthis have fired hundreds of drones and cruise missiles at Israel. The Houthis are an Iranian proxy, funded, trained, and supported by the Iranian regime. The IRGC has enabled the Houthis to attack vessels in the region, damage ports, and increase the prices of goods and energy worldwide. They must be stopped before it's too late. We will not let the Houthis or any other Iranian proxy terrorize the people of Israel.

Tonight, millions of Jews in Israel and around the world will come together to mark Hanukkah — a festival which celebrates the triumph of light over darkness. As we light the Hanukkiah, we pray for the hostages being held captive in Gaza. May the light of Hanukkah pierce the darkness, bringing hope, strength, and the swift return of our loved ones.
