See photos below of the unique detention system designed for a housing community in downtown Excelsior, Minnesota. This multifamily project will feature seven new residential buildings and a parking garage. A stormwater management solution was needed to meet water storage requirements and work with an existing treatment system on-site. StormTrap provided a long detention vault using 4’-2” and 5’-6” SingleTrap modular pieces. Given the site’s footprint constraints, the basin was placed near the buildings along the south side of the property. The system was installed in just two days and provides over 11,900 cubic feet of water storage.
