Impact NW was recently featured in an OPB article by Bryce Dole discussing the challenges nonprofits in our region face. The article highlights how issues like bureaucratic delays, inflation, and the end of pandemic funding have left nonprofits like ours struggling to sustain staff and provide housing wages. This has made filling positions difficult and impacted our ability to provide support to participants who need it most. As our Executive Director, Andy Nelson, shared: "It has real delays and an impact on the people who are hoping to engage in our programs."
