  • This week, we received our 1,000th Move Task Order from the military services! This marks a major milestone in our mission to modernize the way military members and their families move. From servicing our first moves across 14 GHC-live locations, to now managing moves at more than 90 installations nationwide, we continue to move forward together. A special thanks to our fantastic service providers who have partnered with us to ensure all household goods belonging to our nation's heroes arrive home safe.

  • Happy 5th birthday, United States Space Force! In 2019, the Space Force was established as the first new branch of the U.S. Armed Forces in 73 years. Over 14,000 military and civilian “Guardians” are currently serving in the Space Force. The branch is organized under the Department of the Air Force, similar to how the Marine Corps are under the Navy. Thank you for your service to our country!

  • As we continue our domestic phase-in of the Global Household Goods Contract (GHC), we understand service members and their families will have questions about the new process for military moves. To help protect personal addresses and other sensitive information, we leverage the power of Okta to ensure we are keeping what’s private, private. • Earlier this year, Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia was one of the first installations added to our ever-growing list of GHC-live locations! That marked the first time the GHC served military members and their families in the “Mother of States.”   Since then, Fort Belvoir, Fort Gregg-Adams, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Marine Corps Base Quantico, and Coast Guard Base Portsmouth have all been activated as GHC-live locations!   Stay tuned for more updates regarding Virginia in the coming months!

  • Meet Sandi Turner, one of our Booking Coordinators here at HomeSafe Alliance. In this role, Sandi mainly helps locate service providers on behalf of military members. Additionally, she acts as a middle person for any issues between our providers and service members with the help of our Customer CARE Team. Prior to joining HomeSafe in August 2023, Sandi worked for more than 20 years in various roles across the military household goods moving industry. She says she joined HomeSafe to help military members and their families, since she herself moved a lot with her father who eventually retired as a Major from the U.S. Army. Outside of her work, Sandi says that her greatest passions are spending time with her family and exploring the nearby Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge by hiking and enjoying the calmness of the area. “My goal is to make every move for our service members the best move they have ever had,” says Sandi. “While I know we can’t make things stress-free, I hope to alleviate as much stress as possible for military members and their families.”

  • US Army post Fort Drum recently published this article outlining changes to the military move process through the Global Household Goods Contract with HomeSafe Alliance.   "There’s going to be so many people out there to help Soldiers when they get ready to move, that will walk them through this process, so that it will go as smoothly as possible.”   Fort Drum was added this month to the ever-growing list of domestic GHC-live locations. • We are closing 2024 strong by continuing to grow our operations as we phase in the Global Household Goods Contract (GHC)! Starting this month, US Transportation Command is expanding local GHC shipments to 20 additional military installations across 16 states.   This brings the total number of GHC-live locations to 94 installations across nationwide, representing more than half of installations in the contiguous United States.   To view a list of existing GHC-live locations, click here: https://lnkd.in/gNHfphXq   ----   #HomeSafe #HomeSafeAlliance #PCS #MilitaryMoves #GHC
