HomeSafe Alliance's failures in providing actual moves while mistakenly taking credit for booking them are glaring. Booking jobs is not the mission, Caleb. HSA is the sole booker under the Global Household Contract (GHC), and when you're out of your element and lack logistics knowledge, it may seem like a milestone to be handed work. The truth is that HSA controls a privatized monopoly on all military moves, making the booking of moves irrelevant to the actual process. The mission should be to deliver services for 170,000 moves, but under HomeSafe's leadership, execution has been severely lacking. Their inability to meet set benchmarks, such as achieving only 10% of the targeted 1,200 moves in November, reflects inadequate planning, insufficient resources, and a lack of accountability. These shortfalls not only affect numbers but also stress military families who rely on these services during critical transitions. They face challenges like disrupted schedules and emotional strain due to inefficiencies. To resolve these issues, a reevaluation of the GHC is essential, focusing on operational frameworks, resource allocation, and accountability.

Get a copy of anything documenting accidents, injuries, illnesses, etc. My entire active duty medical record was lost after I transferred off of the boat, and mine is not an isolated incident. Talking with a trained Pre-discharge representative can help you recall all of the potential negative health risks and exposures that you need to make sure are documented before you leave the service.
