Every year, we join forces with local charities to provide Christmas for families in need. This year, a remarkable 75 children will receive Christmas magic thanks to the HOALiving Family and members of our larger community. HOALiving Minnesota added a personal touch to the Spirit of Giving by packing meals with Feed My Starving Children AND wrapping gifts for a local family, along with our business partner, CCE, and Maintenance Masters. Is it realistic to think you have such a great organization, employees will never leave for other opportunities? Nope. It’s 2024, not 1970. Being a bit vulnerable here – I hurt when employees leave because I wish the great ones would all stay forever. However, when your personal/organizational wishes conflict with an employee’s opportunity they have earned for themselves through hard work and desire, you thank the employee and wish them nothing but success. At HOALiving, we want to celebrate these moments and accept the challenge of attracting and developing the next great employee. Such is the case with our Communications and Marketing Specialist, Karlie Lambson. Karlie began as a Community Specialist and became a Senior CS before transitioning to our Marketing Team. Her industry experience and know-how has had a huge impact on our MarComm efforts. As she begins the next chapter of her career, I’d like to personally thank her and wish her well.
