Bigger than ever! 🎸🔍 We had an absolute blast building this larger-than-life @prsguitars for the Artist in Manufacturing event at @magmabuildstudios. Our team at Hatch Exhibits recently completed a unique project for our client Impact XM - a lung-shaped art piece that showcased a large span of our capabilities. This one-of-a-kind installation began with our talented CAD designers, who brought the client's vision to life through detailed 3D modeling. Our metal fabrication experts then precisely cut and welded the brackets and base shapes using our advanced CNC plasma equipment. In parallel, our 3D printing lab was in full force, producing the intricate engine components and artist supplies - including paint brushes, tubes, and cups - using resin 3D printers. Our graphics team also contributed, designing the labels for the "paint" elements. The engine components were expertly primed, sanded, and painted in our state-of-the-art paint booth, while smaller pieces received a custom canned spray treatment. Finally, our skilled carpenters carefully constructed a customized shipping crate to safely transport the full assembly to its final destination in Spain. This project truly exemplifies the collaborative, cross-functional capabilities of the Hatch Exhibits team. We're proud to have brought this unique, lung-shaped installation to life for Impact XM.

DEADLINE! Today marked the end of our 2-week deadline to produce a partial, life-size, 3D printed "Back To The Future" DeLorean for the "Hollywood Showcase" area at Rapid + TCT in Los Angeles next week. The talented team of craftsmen and artists here at Hatch have been working tirelessly to recreate this iconic movie prop alongside veteran Hollywood prop maker, Scott Pope, who joined our team to help us get the DeLorean close to the finish line. The turnaround time for this ambitious build was extremely tight, but our entire team put in their all to make it happen. This has been a collaborative effort between Hatch, Direct Dimensions, and Massivit 3D. We've utilized Direct Dimensions' 3D scans of the iconic movie car, along with the large-scale printing capabilities of Massivit's 5000 3D printer and their proprietary gel material. Our talented craftsmen and artists, along with veteran Hollywood prop maker Scott Pope, have been putting in overtime to ensure this build is completed and ready to ship out tomorrow. This ambitious project is a joint collaboration between Hatch, Direct Dimensions, and Massivit 3D Printing Technologies Ltd. Using the 3D scans provided by Direct Dimensions and Massivit's advanced gel printing technology, we've been able to produce the large-scale body parts on our Massivit 5000 printer. Our talented craftsmen and artists have been dedicating long hours to complete the final 3D prints, 2D prints, engraving, painting, and intricate assembly work needed to faithfully recreate this movie prop. We're in the home stretch of our ambitious project to build a partial, life-size DeLorean from "Back to the Future" as a unique photo op for the upcoming RAPID + TCT Event. Thanks to our incredible partners at Direct Dimensions, Inc. and Massivit 3D, we've been able to make tremendous progress in the two weeks since we started this build. With just 3 days left until the big reveal, the attention to detail is really starting to shine through - our team has laser cut and engraved the dashboard and time control box components to bring this iconic vehicle to life. We can't wait to unveil the finished DeLorean and offer Rapid + TCT attendees the chance to take photos with this one-of-a-kind prop. Saturday, we made great progress on the life-size "Back to the Future" DeLorean build for the RAPID + TCT Event "Hollywood Showcase" area June 25-27. Our talented team at Hatch Exhibits has been working hard, in partnership with Direct Dimensions, Inc. and Massivit 3D, to bring this iconic vehicle to life. Direct Dimensions provided the critical 3D scans of the DeLorean, allowing us to faithfully recreate every detail. Massivit has supplied their advanced gel material, which we ran through our Massivit 5000 printer to produce the large components. With just 4 days left until we need to ship the final showpiece to the event, the focus has shifted to meticulous body work, painting, and detailed finishing touches. Our artists are diligently sanding, priming, and painting the door panel, as well as meticulously detailing the finer elements. We're thrilled to be bringing this cinematic classic to the Rapid + TCT show floor, giving attendees a unique photo opportunity.
