Bigger than ever! 🎸🔍 We had an absolute blast building this larger-than-life @prsguitars for the Artist in Manufacturing event at @magmabuildstudios. Our team used the incredible @Massivit 5000 and an arsenal of resin printers to reproduce all the parts our skilled craftsmen needed to assemble and finish this incredible piece in just over a week's time. 🙌 #artistinmanufacturing #3dprinting #prsguitars #gearhead

💥 UniSlicer has your back, whether it's on a micro or macro scale. Check out this demo video showcasing UniSlicer generating the necessary toolpath for building a small apartment with a total dimension of (10x6x4 m) and an inclination angle of 30 degrees. The building parameters are based on a 10 mm inner diameter nozzle (Extruder). 🔔 What's really impressive is that UniSlicer can slice multiple parts (floor and walls) with different printing parameters in one go, as shown in step 2. #3DPrinting #3Dprinter #3dprinted #engineering #software #slicing #3dslicer #mechanicalengineering #processengineering #additivemanufacturing #UniSlicer #Toolpath #PrintingParameters

Fusion Friday - Cosmetic vs. Modeled Threads In this video, I show the difference between cosmetic and modeled threads in Fusion. I explain why your threads don't show up on your 3D prints you created in Fusion. I also show a cool tip on how to quickly toggle all your threads between cosmetic and modeled in one click! #Fusion #Fusion360 #NexGen #NexGenSolutions #3DPrinting

Additive manufacturing has to be one of my favorite interests. I have a 3D printer and the process of designing a part on Fusion 360, slicing(programming) it, then watching it come to life is very fulfilling. Seeing that 3D printing is being used in some aspects of the medical field is nothing short of exciting.
Splenic artery aneurysm case 3D printed with Formlabs Flexible 80A resin. Print time (3D Printer: Formlabs Form 4) is 3 hours and 34 minutes. The model highlighted in the video is after washing and curing. For consultancy on vascular models, feel free to contact the mastermind, Samuel GUIGO, who used this model in a flow simulation.

Why do I use #3dprinting for #orthotics and #AFOs❔ ⬆ This is a really important question and concept to understand, let's break it down: 1. Specifically when compared to milled/CNC insoles, #3Dprinting has substantially less material waste ♻ This is also true for thermoformed AFOs❗ 2. Anything that falls under the "I can't do that with traditional fabrication" category. (e.g Small features, variable thickness, flexible zones, embossed text/logos, super deep heel cups, automation, etc) 💡 3. Taking advantage of specific materials (PA11 and TPU, or PP) 👟 4. Unique material properties (programmable lattices, variable thicknesses, and patterns allow for one material to be manipulated into having multiple sets of stiffness based on geometrical properties) ⚙ 5. Skilled labor (or lack thereof!!!) Labs and clinics have a really hard time finding and retaining skilled labor. It takes a long time to teach someone how to glue a firm crepe heel post and grind to neutral! But #CAD (especially semi-automated solutions like LeoShape) can add a neutral heel post with the flick of a switch (and then the heel post can easily be modified digitally, so adding a varus wedge in addition to a heel lift is a breeze!) ⛑ There are still reasons to use traditional fabrication processes and manual labor! But those reasons are dwindling every day as automation ticks more and more boxes... want to stay ahead of the curve⁉ ➡➡➡https://lnkd.in/gvXeAdnz ⬅⬅⬅
