  • GJ tube patients are solely reliant on these feeding tubes for their nutritional, hydration and medication needs. All GJ feeding tubes have a propensity to clog with normal usage at rates up to 45% over the life of a tube. A clogged GJ feeding tube requires urgent medical attention and a hospital visit to undergo a tube exchange, typically performed by an Interventional Radiologist (IR). INMed Inc. is proud to introduce the “game changing” ShortCut™ GJ feeding tube with an innovative embedded sealed bypass exchange catheter that ensures GJ tube replacements are rapid and predictable, regardless of the presence of a jejunal (J) lumen blockage. No currently marketed GJ feeding tube allows for the removal and exchange of a clogged tube via a minimally invasive, over-the-wire procedure without giving up gastrointestinal (GI) access. The predictability of the ShortCut™ GJ tube will reduce patient and IR staff radiation exposure as well as shorten clogged GJ tube replacement procedure times by up to forty-five minutes. WATCH THE DEMO VIDEO HERE -- https://lnkd.in/eXfugq33 We are currently engaging with prospective partners interested in acquiring, licensing or distributing the ShortCut™ GJ Feeding Tube. Please let us know if your organization has any questions, or would like a copy our Executive Summary which details the opportunity further by responding privately to this message or by calling our office at 770-476-9940. Thank you and we look forward to speaking with you soon!

Congratulations to Dr. Dale Creamer, Head of Interventional Radiology at the world-renowned Groote Schuur Hospital Trust in Cape Town, South Africa, and his exceptional team for successfully completing their first TIPS procedure using the Scorpion® Portal Vein Access Series. We are proud to contribute to ongoing medical advancements in South Africa, benefiting both patients and physicians across the region.   The Scorpion’s unique curve-in-curve system allows physicians to navigate through liver parenchyma with 360-degree range of motion without removing the device and helps reduce the number of attempts necessary to establish portal vein access.
