This month, we celebrated the opening of the Bridgeside Estates (Little Lehigh I) in Allentown, PA with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This new affordable development features 50 modern townhomes, a 4,800 sf community building with a gathering room and daycare, on-site parking, and a tot lot for families to enjoy, replacing the outdated 1970s-era complex. Perfectly located within sight of the iconic 8th Street Bridge and walking distance to Allentown’s City Center, this community connects residents to everything they need to thrive. On December 19th, Harkins joined Pennrose, WRT, and other project partners to celebrate the completion of Uplands Rental Phase II with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Baltimore, MD. This phase introduces 150 affordable apartments, complete with playgrounds, on-site parking, and upgraded public infrastructure, including utilities, sidewalks, and roads to the 63-acre redevelopment. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering sustainable community development and creating spaces where Baltimore residents can thrive. #buildingexceptional

Harkins recently celebrated the groundbreaking of Residences at Government Center II with Lincoln Avenue Communities, KTGY, and other project partners. Once complete, Residences at Government Center II will provide 279 affordable homes equipped with top-tier amenities for families and individuals in Fairfax County. This development exemplifies the transformation of underutilized land into a vibrant, community-centered space. In addition to quality housing, the community will feature a daycare center, offering a secure and convenient childcare option for residents and their families to thrive. We are proud to be a partner on this vital project that will create a lasting positive impact in the Fairfax community. #buildingexceptional

We are honored to have received an award at the ABC Eastern Pa 34th Awards Dinner for the Christ's Home Wing Addition Project in Warminster, PA. This project expanded the senior living community with 30 new independent living suites, a medical suite, and renovated spaces like Smyth Hall and the bistro. It also introduced upgraded amenities, including a two-story atrium lobby, a movie theater, and fine dining facilities with a beautiful outdoor patio. Thank you to our client, Christ’s Home, architect, Lenhardt Rodgers Architecture + Interiors, and our trade partners for helping us to create a safe, welcoming space for residents to thrive. #buildingexceptional

We’re proud to celebrate the next phases of the Village at Slippery Hill, a two-phase project designed to serve both families and seniors. Phase II includes the development of one-, two-, and three-bedroom townhomes with added commercial and retail space, while Phase III features a four-story senior living apartment building with affordable one- and two-bedroom units. We’re honored to partner with Green Street Housing, TM Associates, and Architecture by Design, Inc. (ABD) to bring this vibrant, inclusive community to life.
