Our LIRR 3rd Track team has done it again, winning the 2024 Project of the Year award by the Municipal Engineers of the City of New York. On Friday Nov. 22nd, the 3rd Track Constructors team, a JV by #Halmar, Picone, Dragados USA, Inc., and CHINA CONSTRUCTION AMERICA, received the Project of the Year award by MENY. The LIRR 3rd Track Expansion stands as a testament to Halmar's commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure through Quality, Excellence, and Innovation. This transformative project has garnered widespread recognition and numerous prestigious awards, reflecting its significant impact. We are excited to announce that our Potomac Yard Metrorail Station in Alexandria, VA has won the Best Project Award by Engineering News-Record On Friday Oct. 25th, the Halmar team along with Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) received the #ENR MidAtlantic 2024 Regional Best Project Award for the Airport/Transit Category. Some images from our quick and successful weekend in June at our #ParkAvenueViaductReplacement project. We have been working around the clock to replace sections of the aging Park Avenue Viaduct that carries MNR trains in and out of Gran Central, from 115th street to 132nd Street on Park Ave in East Harlem, NYC. Unique projects like this one require innovative ideas and thinking outside the box. You will notice we did just that, by creating these custom made Mi-Jack gantries that span across the PAV allowing us to remove & replace multiple spans in one weekend while MNR trains continue to operate.
