Prose is honored to have received the 2024 CEW Sustainability Excellence Award! 🎉 This recognition highlights brands that are setting new standards in sustainability across ingredients, packaging, and the entire product lifecycle. The award was established by CEW to encourage the beauty and personal care industry to take meaningful steps toward decreasing impact on our planet 🌎 To achieve this recognition, Prose shared comprehensive details about our sustainability practices, including our B Corp and Climate Neutral certifications. We showcased our commitment to responsible ingredient sourcing, highlighted our made-to-order model that minimizes waste, and the continued developments in packaging and circularity into our supply chain. This award reflects many years of hard work and a relentless focus on sustainability by our cross-functional teams in R&D, Marketing, Operations, Product, and more. From reducing waste in our factory to launching initiatives like our pump opt-out program—every decision we make is motivated by our commitment to innovation and reducing impact in the beauty industry. A heartfelt thank you to Helen N., Fabiola Cristina Santos, and Amanda Nuzzo for their dedication and leadership in helping us achieve this milestone. Last month, Prose Director of Scientific Affairs, Thomas Navarro and Product Evaluation Director, Naïma Ziane-Cherif attended the 34th IFSCC Congress in Iguazu Falls, Brazil 🇧🇷 With 1400+ professionals from over 34 countries in attendance, we are proud that the team was able to share more information on our world-class clinical study that shows the benefits of personalization compared to off-the-shelf alternatives, especially for people who have multiple hair needs. The team had a great time presenting these results to cosmetic experts and scientists for the first time and we can’t wait to attend future events like this to share more Prose research! 👩🔬

We had a blast last week at our Brooklyn factory spending time with some of our favorite media & content creator friends 💥 To celebrate the start of the Autumn season, we had our fantastic expert ambassadors Glen Oropeza & Dr. Toral Vaidya, MD, MPH doing hair and skin demonstrations alongside beauty astrologists who delivered custom seasonal beauty forecasts ☀ We were also able to take everyone on a guided tour of our haircare and skincare manufacturing where all of our custom products are made! Huge thank you to everyone who joined us and of course, a major shoutout to the amazing Prose team who helped bring this event to life ✨

We kicked off climate week this year by co-hosting the first-ever Prose 2024 B YOU Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K and it was a huge success! 🏃♂️We had such a blast getting together with other B Corporations to advocate for a greener and more inclusive future 🌎 Over 250 runners participated and after crossing the finish line, they got to explore our Sustainable Village, connecting with incredible B Corporations who showcased their sustainable practices and the positive impact they’re making on the world. Each runner even got a seeded medal that can be planted to grow wildflowers! 🌼🌱 The New York Sustainable Business Council was also in attendance sharing information about the TREES Act, guiding attendees on how to support this act individually or as a business. A huge thank you to everyone involved and the runners who participated in this amazing event 👏 B Local NYC
