Congratulations to Lloyd Winters on retiring after more than 13 years of dedicated service at Greenway! Lloyd is a QC Project Manager, certified engineering technologist (CET), and radiation safety officer (RSO). He has led our inspections department in construction monitoring, testing, concrete evaluation, compaction testing, and structural inspections. Lloyd is also heavily involved in the community, volunteering at the Clear Brook Fire Department for many years and providing CPR training and certification for employees. We celebrated his retirement with lunch catered from Mission Barbeque and recognizing his many contributions to our organization. We had a fantastic time connecting across all of Greenway’s offices at our third annual Christmas Happy Hour at one of our favorite local breweries: Bear Chase Brewing Company - Loudoun County, VA! Exciting news from our environmental scientists! This past week, several of our team members had the privilege of attending the VIRGINIA ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL SOIL SCIENTISTS (VAPSS) Fall Conference, and we were so inspired by the wealth of knowledge shared! The conference provided an incredible opportunity to connect with industry leaders, explore the latest advancements in soil science, and engage in important discussions about sustainable land management, environmental stewardship, and soil health. 🌍💧 A huge thank you to VAPSS for organizing such a valuable event, and to all the presenters and attendees for making it a memorable experience.
