Like many countries in Asia, #Vietnam is at the forefront of climate challenges, especially those related to #water. Could the answer be found in #rain? Gravity Water is committed to supporting the remarkable country of Vietnam and the wonderful people who make the nation so special. Through installing innovative rainwater harvesting systems at schools, Gravity Water supports the communities of Vietnam in building a resilient and sustainable future. Thank you, Sam Shimizu-Jones, for continuing to tell our story in such a beautiful way! 🎬 #SustainableVietnam #Innovation #ClimateTech #CommunityEmpowerment #ClimateResilience #WASH #WaterSecurity #RainwaterHarvesting

  • This year, Gravity Water launched an exciting urban rainwater pilot in Taipei, Taiwan, in partnership with Google, CLEAN International, Humanscale, and Environmental Ethics Foundation Taiwan, helping schools operate completely off of rain. Island nations across the Asia-Pacific, including Taiwan, face heightened risks from climate-related disasters and water scarcity. Strengthening water resilience by conserving groundwater during droughts and ensuring access to safe water during floods is essential for sustainable water management in these vulnerable regions. Gravity Water's integrated rainwater systems address both challenges, offering an innovative and practical solution for building long-term water security. This pilot project represents an exciting initial step in gathering data on the benefits of rainwater harvesting for water conservation. These insights are critical for scaling integrated rainwater systems as a reliable source of safe water for Taiwan and other island nations throughout the future. #WaterSecurity #ClimateResilience #APAC #Sustainability #SDG11 #SDG13 #SDG6 #WaterStewardship #WaterConservation

  • Namaste from Nepal 🇳🇵 Gravity Water has experienced remarkable growth in Nepal over the past year, with more than 50 schools in the Kavrepalanchowk District receiving Cloudwell Water Technologies' rainwater harvesting and treatment systems in just the last three months alone. By the end of 2025, Gravity Water aims to equip over 200 community schools in the Kathmandu Valley with these systems, ensuring every public school in the region has integrated rainwater technology. Through this initiative, government schools in Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, and Kavrepalanchowk will have a safe and sustainable way to provide improved water to all students, regardless of background. Big thanks to our partners Carbon Impact Capital and World Centric who continue to help us make lasting impact for vulnerable communities throughout Nepal. #Nepal #SafeWater #WaterSecurity #ClimateResilience #SustainableNepal #GreenSchools #CarbonFinance

  • Sneak peak at our new rainwater system design from Cloudwell Water Technologies! This updated system includes: - Custom 150L first flush tanks, which divert the initial runoff from roofs that contain >90% of the dirt and other pollutants on the catchment surface, preventing the water from ever entering the system. - Updated Cloudwell RainBox, which includes two UV sterilizers, one for general water use (point-of-source), and one for potable water use (point-of-use), in addition to carbon, micron, and ultrafiltration treatment. This update ensures all water to schools are treated for bacteria, viruses, and protozoa, not just water for potable purposes. - Updated water sensor and valve technologies to improve rainwater use automation and efficiency. These projects were part of a demonstration of *Innovative Climate Adaptation Technologies* for the Cà Mau Province of Vietnam, which struggles with fresh water access, saltwater intrusion, and groundwater pollution. Gravity Water is currently working with multiple stakeholders on bringing rainwater harvesting to scale in the Mekong River Delta, helping build water resilience in this important region throughout the future. #ClimateTech #WaterTech #Mekong #RainwaterHarvesting #Innovation #ScalableSolutions #Vietnam #SustainableVietnam #WaterSecurity #ClimateResilience
