Honoring the 20th Anniversary of the 2004 Water Rights Settlement Act In unison with the Gila River Indian Community, Gila River Health Care has designated December 10th as a day to honor the historic 2004 Water Rights Settlement Act signed by President George W. Bush. This year marks its 20th Anniversary. The Community’s determined fight to reclaim their rightful water rights reflects the essential role that water plays in the lives of the Akimel O’otham and Pee-Posh Communities. The phrase “Water is life” is a lesson passed down through generations. Join us in honoring this legacy by watching the following video. Let’s reflect on the resilience and strength that made this moment possible.

Elev8 Saturday Scrubs: Exploring the World of Physical Therapy! This weekend, our Elev8 Saturday Scrubs students had an incredible hands-on experience with Physical Therapist Michael Bond and Physical Therapy Tech Maddison Galindo! They learned the ins and outs of a career in Physical Therapy, participated in an insightful Q&A about the field, and experienced live demonstrations with state-of-the-art PT equipment. From exploring how Physical Therapy aids recovery to discussing the rewarding journey of becoming a PT, our students left inspired and ready to elevate their futures. A big thank you to Michael and Maddison for sharing their expertise and sparking interest in the next generation of healthcare professionals! #Elev8SaturdayScrubs #PhysicalTherapy #FutureHealthProfessionals #HandsOnLearning #InspirationInAction
