You will have more control over who and when you booking into your outpatient appointments 2. You can book in chronological order 3. You can reduce your long waiters 4. You can adapt your clinics more quickly 5. You will improve your DNA and short notice cancellation rate. I gave your step one last week. Have you worked out the answer? You will not get anywhere without the support of the admin team who book your appointments. If this is a corporate team then you need to go and speak to them about what you are trying to do. Do's 1. Explain what you are trying to do 2. Explain why you are trying to do it 3. The benefits of what you are trying to do 4. How it will help the booking team 5. Ask them what they think and do they have any thoughts 6. Listen to them 7. Involve them in the whole process Telling the booking team this is what you want to do without involving them will not make it happen. You need to work together and involve them in the whole process and listen to what they are saying.
