About us
The mission of the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy is to champion the needs of sexually and severely physically abused children through prevention, intervention, therapy, and collaboration. The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy was established as a private, non-profit agency in 1987. These services are provided at no cost to children who reside in or were abused in DeKalb or Fulton County. The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy’s role throughout the criminal investigation is to focus on the child’s needs, rather than focusing on the crime itself.

The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy urgently needs your support to continue our life-changing work for children and families in crisis. Every day, we provide critical services—immediate intervention, trauma therapy, prevention education and family advocacy—to help children who have endured abuse, violence, and trafficking. But the demand for these services is growing, and with cuts to government funding, we face a serious financial gap. Your donation today ensures that we can continue to offer these services at no cost to the families who need us most. Your gift is not just a donation—it’s an investment in the safety, healing, and futures of vulnerable children in Georgia. Will you help us make a lasting impact before the year ends? The countdown is on to protect children from the impact of Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) cuts. These cuts will have an effect on victim services across the nation, including Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs) at risk of cutting back resources or shutting their doors. Learn more and share this post with your networks, and tell Congress to pass the Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act (CVFSA) to protect CACs and provide access for victims to get the support they need: https://lnkd.in/eqJYHJG
