Expect more from your IVF. Better results. Better experience. Better way to pay.

About us

Remaking the way we make families. Gaia is bringing value-based care to fertility. We focus on improving outcomes for our members through better care and end-to-end support, and believe they should only pay us if successful. We take on the risk so that our clinic partners get paid regardless of outcomes. Our founder, Nader AlSalim, experienced the challenges of IVF firsthand as he and his wife went through 5 rounds of treatment to conceive their son. He created Gaia to give others the experience he wished he’d had. Today, a Gaia baby is born every 2.6 days, and with an NPS above 80, our Members feel taken care of at every step of their journey.

Financial barriers are the #1 reason people put off fertility treatment. And that delay is not only tragic for them — it affects the clinics dedicated to helping them, resulting in poorer outcomes (as patients wait, their fertility changes), lower cash flow, and higher administrative burden. That’s why we’ve created a model that benefits everyone. With value based care, patients can start treatment today and pay for results tomorrow — with no clunky authorization process. Clinics get paid no matter what. Reach out to Kay Colegrove, MSPM to learn more.

Last night, our team gathered to watch Netflix’s “Joy” — and left not only teary-eyed, but inspired, and reminded of why we do the work we do. Fertility care isn’t just about science and logistics: it’s about hope. Behind every treatment plan or financial solution is a family wanting a child — and behind the treatment were three pioneers who defied incredible odds, stigma, and adversity to make it even a possibility. Patrick Steptoe, Jean Purdy and Robert Edwards created more than a medical breakthrough; they started a movement. A legacy that is now our responsibility to carry on by transforming fertility care from a luxury into an accessible form of healthcare for everyone who needs it. Fertility care changes lives. It creates lives. And it’s a field we’re so proud to be part of. Be sure to check out Joy on Netflix – it’s a great holiday watch.

Last night, RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association marked 50 years of tireless advocacy with a particularly meaningful Night of Hope Gala. For Gaia, it was year 1 of supporting this incredible organization.  While these events undoubtedly carry a touch of glamour — we were so excited to meet Elizabeth Carr, the first US IVF baby! — for us, they’re personal. Our roots lie in our founder Nader AlSalim’s own fertility journey, and being in a room with people who share our values and passion is a poignant reminder of the power of partnership. Shaping the future of fertility care isn’t a solo mission — it’s a collaborative effort. And for that reason we were so proud to share the evening with Dr. Peter Klatsky, Steve Rooks, Dr. Linda Sung, Elizabeth Carr, Mark V., Carly Vollero, Beth Zoneraich and Sally Maler. Congratulations to RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association on an unforgettable evening. We’re so proud to stand alongside you. #NightOfHope

The holidays should be all about love, gratitude, and joy — right? Surrounded by family, enjoying pecan pie and hot cocoa, social media ablaze with Hallmark card-worthy photos. But we know the reality can be more challenging, especially for those of us trying to keep our spirits high while trying to conceive. If that’s you, or someone you know: check out our guide on how to navigate the holiday season: https://lnkd.in/egVeptvD

Imagine going through fertility treatment, and it works. Incredible, right? But then, imagine being told that you didn’t just have one baby — you had three, but it wasn’t medically safe for you to carry them all to term. After all it took to get there, you’re faced with the decision to reduce your pregnancy from triplets to twins. That’s what this week’s podcast guest, Erin Bulcao faced over a decade ago. Joining us to talk about her pregnancy reduction for medical reasons, how it impacted her marriage, and the long road to growing their family once more — it’s a hard hitting episode, reminding us that a positive pregnancy test isn’t always the final hurdle. Listen now to our season 2 finale, wherever you get your podcasts.

We guessed exactly what you wanted to read about during your daily LinkedIn scroll: cervical mucus. Why wouldn’t you? 👀 We promise it’s for a good reason. Did you know only 25% of women know that the week leading up to ovulation is the prime time to get pregnant — and a 2022 study found that women who track their cervical mucus have a much stronger understanding of their fertility. At Gaia, we’re here to give you the best shot at parenthood — and that includes empowering our community with the knowledge they need. Want to know how cervical mucus can be pivotal to understanding your fertility? Read our latest blog post here: https://lnkd.in/epfUKdSa

It’s Fertility Week in the UK — the place where Gaia’s story began and our community first took hold. Since we started, we’ve had the honor of being part of hundreds of unique stories — people with infertility, in same-sex relationships, or single — all animated by the strong desire to start a family and facing the same universal challenge: access to quality care isn’t easy or equal. In the UK, where healthcare is generally provided for by the government (the NHS), for most people, fertility treatment is not — access can depend on factors as trivial and infuriating as one’s postcode. Well, it’s easy to argue that while America has a different healthcare system, where you live — and how much you make — will also dictate whether or not you get a shot at parenthood. This week, we’re reminded of our roots. But more importantly, we’re reminded that we’re only just beginning to fulfill our mission: to give anyone who wants a family their best chance at parenthood. #FertilityWeek #FertilityWeek2024
