NCOs, the backbone of our Army, will lead the charge into the future of warfare… Non-Commissioned Officers are the backbone of our Army, and their role is pivotal in driving transformation across all three horizons of transformation: Transformation in Contact, Deliberate Transformation, and Concept-Driven Transformation. NCOs are the leaders who ensure our Soldiers are trained, equipped, and ready to integrate cutting-edge technologies while maintaining the discipline and standards that define our Army. As we navigate the challenges of continuous transformation, their influence will be critical in translating strategic visions into actionable outcomes on the ground. Across each horizon, NCOs provide the steady leadership and innovative thinking required to adapt to new tools and evolving threats. They are the key to turning technological advancements into war-winning capabilities. For a deeper dive into how NCOs are shaping the future of our force, check out this article: https://lnkd.in/gXM7MHJa. We are the best ground force in the world because we have the best Soldiers and Civilians! -BAH

On the future battlefield the U.S. Army will never fight alone, and the integration of forces is a key component of dominating the future fight. Project Convergence Capstone 5 (PC-C5), an Army hosted joint and multination, two-phase, “in-the-dirt” experiment, will integrate with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, Space Force, and military partners from the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, France and Japan in early 2025. Stay tuned for more updates as they come and get ready to #ForgeTheFuture. Augmented reality for Soldiers is here, and it is game changing… Imagine stepping into the field and having all the intel you need right in your line of sight—that’s the game-changer the Integrated Visual Augmentation System, or IVAS, is bringing to our Soldiers. We’re talking about real-time data, targeting info, and augmented reality overlays that make situational awareness faster, smarter, and way more intuitive. Our teams at AFC are taking on the challenges of developing this tech to not just enhance vision but to empower every move Soldiers make on the ground. IVAS isn’t about fancy gadgets; it’s about real solutions for real-world needs. Our team is working closely with Soldiers and industry to ensure this tech is rugged, reliable, and effective. It’s a true team effort, and there’s still more work ahead, but the strides we’re seeing are incredible. For those curious about the capabilities IVAS can bring and the continuous improvement of the device, here’s a good read https://lnkd.in/guwgXivi. Looking forward to the future of Soldier-ready tech! -BAH

Project Convergence Capstone constantly and consistently pushes technological boundaries, and the upcoming Project Convergence Capstone 5 (PC-C5) is no exception. Last week, during the PC-C5 rehearsal of concept drill, senior leaders, including Lt. Gen. David Hodne, Futures and Concepts Center director, took part in a demonstration of a new technology that will increase senior leaders' understanding of battlefield space through technology by using augmented reality devices that show a 3D sand table. These devices provide commanders with a live, constructed, and simulated 3D battlefield, showing the modern battlefield complexity and allowing commanders to make better decisions faster than ever before. Experimentation is one of the cornerstones of the Future and Concepts. Centers' work and Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiments, or AEWE events, have led the charge for modernization experimentation for more than three decades. AEWE 24 focused on increasing the lethality of the infantry brigade combat team through robotic-enabled maneuver. AEWE has acted as a gateway to Project Convergence Capstone events and is a risk reduction experiment. The United States was not alone in this experiment; a British Royal Yorkshire Regiment platoon and a Dutch Army Thirteenth Light Armored Brigade platoon also joined in the action. For more information on AEWE 24, check out this video and be on the lookout for more FCC #yearinreview content. https://lnkd.in/ehzy367P #ForgeTheFuture #BeAllYouCanBe #ArmyModernization #persistentexperimentation US Army Army Futures Command Maneuver Center of Excellence
