Nothing like a challenge — or two — to kick a founder into high gear. It was a challenge to get accepted to Founders University from LAUNCH, and I’m proud MomSub was chosen. It was inspiring spending the day soaking in all the wisdom from legendary investor Jason Calacanis in a room filled with incredible founders during the kickoff event in Silicon Valley. He’s as energetic and enthused as he is on his This Week in Startups and All-In Podcasts. And it was thrilling that my startup was able to rise to the challenge of landing a new customer during the lunch break. It’s more validation of the overwhelming demand for a child care solution that fits the needs of every day parents. Friday marked the kickoff for Founder University, and I am excited to be part of the 9th cohort! It was inspiring to hear everyone's pitches and learn more about the innovative projects currently in development. I also had the chance to meet Jason Calacanis. He often shares his love for startups on his podcasts, but it really shines when you meet him in person. Big shoutout to the team for organizing such a fantastic kickoff event!
