Meet Steve Biggerstaff who works in our Customer Service Center and has a passion for helping customers. “My goal is to do everything we can to find solutions that are right for the customer and Ford Credit,” he says. “I tackle problems like a puzzle. I look at all the pieces, quickly sizing up which can fit together most easily. It is important the customer views us as there to help; I rely on compassion and humor. Making someone smile for even five seconds can recharge their whole day. Ultimately, I relate to the customer as we solve the puzzle together.” When Steve is not solving puzzles at work, he enjoys woodworking. About 10 years ago, he built an American flag. When his wife posted a photo of it on social media, demand for his woodwork took off as her friends and their friends began requesting projects. “I enjoy figuring out the best way to approach each woodworking project. While the process can be fun, it is also tricky and humbling. In the end, I feel like I have solved something, and it will brighten someone’s home. “At Ford, we talk about owning it – plan, do, check and act – and this is a hobby with similarities. Like woodworking, my customer service work makes a difference in people’s lives, and that feels good.” #WeAreFord
