Just in time for Giving Tuesday, FN America hosted the Blood Connection! They partner with Prisma Health, Providence Health, and Lexington Medical Center to help save lives in our local community. Someone in the U.S. needs blood every two seconds, and one in ten patients who show up to a hospital will need blood. This week, FN America welcomed approximately 20 students and teachers from the Pickens County Career and Technology Center. FN recently donated a robotic automated polisher to the technology center and students were onsite to tour the facility, eat lunch, and see the operation up-close. On Saturday, October 12, FN employees and their friends and families participated in the 2024 Walk for Life and Famously Hot Pink Marathon + 5K at Segra Park in Columbia, SC. Proceeds from the event will fund Prisma Health Breast Center’s latest innovative technology for early detection. One in eight US women will develop invasive breast cancer during their lives, and it’s important to learn the signs, prevention, and treatment options. Early detection saves lives. This is why FN partners with Prisma health annually to provide on-site, mobile mammography screening services to employees while at work. #breastcancerawarenessmonth #FNAwesome #WalkforLife
