The holiday season is here—cue the festive chaos, twinkling lights, and... mountains of wrapping paper! 🎉 But let’s be real—this time of year means a lot of extra waste. (We’re talking up to 25% more #trash between Thanksgiving and New Year’s!) For #recycling facilities, that can mean higher contamination, safety risks, and serious operational headaches. So, how well do you know your holiday waste? We put together a quick, fun quiz to test your skills on what’s #recyclable and what’s not. Think you can score 100%? Challenge yourself—and maybe your colleagues, too: https://lnkd.in/dg6jMg4s

No Recyclable Left Behind. | Leaders in AI & Robotics for Complex Environments.
About us
EverestLabs is working to decarbonize the planet by recovering all recyclables. We are using AI, robotics and automation to help material recovery facilities (MRFs) and Recyclers operate more efficiently and enabling CPG brands to exceed their recycled content, EPR and ESG goals EverestLabs was founded with the belief that the planet (and industry) needs our help. MRFs are in the business of sorting hundreds of millions of tons of waste and recyclables, and it’s a business that is in dire need of modern technologies amid economic downturns, labor shortages, climate change goals, and more. EverestLabs’ technology, RecycleOS, is the only AI-enabled recycling solution that empowers MRFs to cost effectively recover more materials. With more than 97% AI accuracy, we guarantee pick efficacy for the widest range of recyclable materials. This leads to increased revenue and better business outcomes for the recycling industry. Most importantly, it’s contributing to a more sustainable future for our planet. And this is just the beginning: EverestLabs is committed to demystifying AI and automation for the recycling industry and creating a world where no recyclable is left behind.

Check out this EverestLabs robot picking HDPE color off of a last chance line♻️🦾 We believe a MRF’s last chance line possesses endless amounts of value. Our #AI technology collects material characterization data, providing insights into the composition and value of materials that would otherwise end up in a #landfill. This valuable data can help: 1. Optimize upstream equipment for improved material recovery. 2. Support the case for deploying #robotics on the last chance line to recover lost value. With RecycleOS on their last chance line, one of our customers now recovers 1.6 million containers annually, worth $420,000.

Eastman’s recent study is a powerful reminder of how much potential exists to drive real change in the #recycling ecosystem. At EverestLabs, we’re particularly excited by the focus on scaling both mechanical and chemical recycling alongside Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and reuse programs. #AI and #robotics solutions, like our RecycleOS platform, play a critical role in making these systems more efficient, increasing recovery rates, and ensuring the high-quality feedstock needed to meet circularity goals. Collaboration across the value chain will be key to realizing the vision of diverting millions of tons from landfills while cutting greenhouse gas emissions. Together, we can move from "take-make-waste" to a truly circular economy. What strategies do you see as most impactful for accelerating these efforts? #EPR #circularity #circulareconomy

The world has a waste problem; AI can help. The United States generates 268 million tons of waste annually, with 140 million tons (52%) ending up in landfills—much of it consisting of recyclable materials. In fact, a whopping 76% of residential recyclables end up in the landfill without ever seeing a sorting facility. If properly managed, these recyclable materials could be reintegrated into the circular economy. In our latest blog, we dive into the reasons behind these low recovery rates of recyclable materials and explore how technology and innovation can drive solutions. We also highlight our most recent study that sought to better understand public attitudes toward sustainability and recycling. https://lnkd.in/e_f5S-xR

Recycling used to be in the dark—until AI flipped the switch. With RecycleOS #AI, #recycling facilities tap into powerful data to optimize operations and recover more materials. Our tools let customers: - Understand the composition and value of materials being lost to landfill - Pinpoint losses to optimize upstream for improved recovery - Perform material characterization for audits and compliance Ready to see #data in action? “The Partnership's PET Recycling Coalition awarded a grant that allowed Cagila Environmental to implement bold and replicable new systems for PET #recycling, putting them to be at the forefront of separating PET into specialized streams,” says Robert Taylor, Vice President of Grants and Community Development at the Recycling Partnership. With funding from the The Recycling Partnership PET Recycling Coalition, Caglia Environmental implemented two EverestLabs RecycleOS systems to sort PET into three categories: pigmented or opaque PET, PET bottles, and thermoforms. Scope 3 emissions often represent 75% to 95% of a company's total carbon footprint but are challenging to monitor and reduce because they stem from a broad array of activities. Companies can tackle some of their Scope 3 emissions by optimizing #recycling processes, boosting recycling rates of their products and packaging, and using sustainable packaging. All of which #AI and #robotics can help with. Check out our latest blog on Scope 3 emissions to learn more: https://lnkd.in/gfvksXEx #corporatesustainability #scope3emissions
