AI's massive appetite has it devouring the world one byte at a time! Chips skyrocketed, #datacenters overflowed, and #AI has us rebooting power plants to fuel its insatiable hunger. Amid this frenzy, #Ethernet faces its own challenge: delivering #400G per lane to keep up with AI’s cravings for scale-up and scale-out solutions, as Ethernet Alliance Chair Peter Jones notes in his 2024 Year in Review #blog: https://lnkd.in/dm7ZpFmQ As we heard at #TEF2024: Ethernet in the Age of AI, #collaboration is key, and the industry is stepping up to meet this daunting demand. One thing’s for sure: you can’t bet against #Ethernet – it has always delivered, and it always will. Here’s to 2025! #VoiceOfEthernet

#Interoperability in action! We’re proud that our recent #HSNPlugfest united #400G and #800G industry leaders. Facilitating #collaboration among key industry players like VeEX Inc and others is helping to advance #testing on transceivers, active optical cables, and more. Plugfests like these are crucial for driving the adoption and deployment of next-gen #Ethernet and related #networking technologies. Thank you and kudos to all the participants! #VoiceOfEthernet
We are happy to have worked with other 400G and 800G market leaders during the HSN Plugfest in Santa Clara, CA organized by the Ethernet Alliance's High-Speed Networking (HSN) Sub-Committee. We tested transceivers, active optical cables, fan-outs and links with our new MPA-HD test system and RXT-6802 2x800G portable test set. Interoperability is an essential factor for accelerating the adoption and deployment of new technologies. #ethernet #hsnplugfest #veexinc #800g #400g

Cool was definitely hot at #SC24. Ethernet Alliance Events & Conferences Chair, David J. Rodgers of EXFO was there, and has shared his impressions of this year's event in a new #blog: https://bit.ly/EABlogSC24 In "SC24 Insights: Making High-Speed Networks Cool Again", he notes that immersion cooling, next-gen heat sinks, and other innovative solutions aimed at tackling the heat demands of hyperscale #AI and ultra-fast #Ethernet were seemingly everywhere this year. David goes on to say that as we race toward 1.6Tb and beyond, it's not just about speed but managing the power and heat of tomorrow's #datacenters. See more of what he had to say at the #EthernetAlliance blog. #VoiceOfEthernet
