⚡ ēQATOR EU project is advancing scalable, electrically-heated catalytic reactor technologies to revolutionize biogas conversion. Our innovative process improves efficiency beyond the state-of-the-art, focusing on dry reforming to utilize both CO₂ and methane from biogas. This breakthrough bridges biogas production with downstream technologies to create higher-value products like methanol, fuels, and hydrogen. 🎥We’ve crafted a short animated video to explain how it all works! We dive into the science and impact of our approach. 🔗 Visit our website to learn more about the project and our approach 👉 www.eqator.eu SINTEF European Biogas Association NEXTCHEM MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® MEAM-Microwave Energy Applications Management ifeu - Institut für Energie- und Umweltforschung Heidelberg gGmbH European Commission Steinbeis Europa Zentrum Ranido Johnson Matthey Keramik Innovation Berthold Parco Scientifico Tecnologico d'Abruzzo Walter Tosto S.p.A. Our 6th ēQATOR EU project Consortium Meeting took place this week in #Stuttgart🇩🇪, hosted by our partner University of Stuttgart. It was an insightful gathering with representatives from all team members discussing how to develop scalable, electrically-heated #catalyticreactor technologies.👨🏫 👩🏾💻👨🏻💻👩🏫 Over two days, our partners presented and exchanged thoughts on the progress in each work package. Next to the demonstration of the ceramics' coating process at the university's own lab, dinner at Stuttgart's famous #televisiontower may have been the highlight of the meeting—both in terms of height and experience😉 Thank you Universität Stuttgart for your warm welcome and hospitality, and to all of our partners for another successful meeting! Stay tuned for updates as we work together towards a paradigm change in the heating of catalytic reforming reactors! ♻️🍃☀️🔌 Learn more about eQATOR on our website: eQATOR.eu SINTEF NEXTCHEM MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®MEAM-Microwave Energy Applications Management Steinbeis Europa Zentrum Parco Scientifico Tecnologico d'Abruzzo Walter Tosto WTB CNRS Institut de Recherches sur la Catalyse et l'Environnement de Lyon (IRCELYON) ifeu - Institut für Energie- und Umweltforschung Heidelberg gGmbH Ranido Keramik Innovation Berthold European Biogas Association Equinor Johnson Matthey

🔬 Exciting News from #eQATOR! 🔬 We’re thrilled to announce that our research on metal dusting challenges in novel syngas conversion processes will be presented at the upcoming #Eurocorr conference on September 2nd in #Paris 🇫🇷 Dr. Daniel Bengtsson Blücher from SINTEF will showcase the latest #eQATOR findings. Our project is pioneering the use of electrically heated catalytic reactors to convert biogas into valuable products like methanol and synthetic fuels. 🚀 One of the biggest challenges in this process is combating metal dusting, which can occur under high-pressure, high-temperature conditions. Our research delves deep into selecting the right materials to ensure long-term, safe, and reliable operation of these innovative technologies. 🔧💡 👉Eurocorr: https://eurocorr2024.org/ 💡Learn more about the project: https://www.eqator.eu/ #eQATOR #HorizonEurope #Sustainability #Biogas #Syngas #MetalDusting #Eurocorr2024 #Innovation #MaterialsScience
