🎉 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞! 🎉 Last week, Chaberton held a groundbreaking ceremony in Harrington, Delaware, for Project Crestone, which we're developing in partnership with Pivot Energy. The 5.7 MWdc solar farm will generate enough electricity to power the equivalent of 500+ homes with affordable, renewable electricity. During the ceremony, Delaware Sen. Stephanie Hansen said, "Delaware produces less energy than any other state in the United States...and yet, in 2021, we used 80 times more energy than we actually produced."* She continued, "Building this facility here...is incredibly meaningful, and it's impactful in our state." Crestone's sister site, Project Blackburn, is being built on a similar timeline by Chaberton and Pivot just a few miles north in Magnolia, Delaware. Together, the projects are two of the state's first community solar farms to break ground.
