  • This holiday season, we proudly continued a beloved tradition — delivering toys to Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington. For the sixth consecutive year, our employees and Local 1238 came together to support this initiative, raising and matching funds to purchase toys. This year, our efforts totaled nearly $32,000, all aimed at bringing smiles to the faces of young patients. We’re proud to power more than electricity — we power hope, joy, and connection in our communities. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Here’s to an even brighter holiday season for all! #HappyHolidays #MoreThanEnergy

  • Santa, the Grinch, and 18 of our Delmarva Power elves brought holiday magic to John Parsons Assisted Living in Salisbury, MD! Through our Santas for Seniors project, we adopted all 34 seniors, gifting them cozy throws, candy, puzzles, and night lights — straight from their wish lists! The real magic? Singing carols together, watching residents dance in their chairs, and hearing one resident share memories of her family’s ties to Delmarva Power — a moment Santa (aka Craig Jarvis) will never forget. Huge thanks to our donors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this day so special. Joy was shared on both sides, and hearts were definitely full. #SantasforSeniors #HolidayJoy

  • As the holiday season lights up our neighborhoods, safety should remain top of mind. Whether you're decorating your home or business, here are a few key tips: 🔍 Inspect light strands for damage and discard anything with frayed wires. ⚡ Avoid overloading outlets and stick to manufacturer guidelines for connecting light strings. 🌟 Use energy-efficient LED lighting to reduce energy use and overheating risks. 🏡 Ensure outdoor lights are rated for exterior use and keep all decorations at least 10 feet away from power lines. By staying mindful of these tips, we can all enjoy a safe, bright, and energy-smart holiday season. Learn more at http://spr.ly/6043tL9VL #HolidaySafety

🌟 Community Support in Action! 🌟 On the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving, our Delmarva Power Gas Team had the privilege of supporting the Sunday Breakfast Mission, Inc for their Great Thanksgiving Food Outreach. Our goal was to meet the needs of struggling families by providing a complete Thanksgiving meal, including a turkey. This year, we were proud to support 1,200 families in the Wilmington area. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success. Your dedication and generosity truly made a difference in our community. Together, we brought smiles and hope to many families this holiday season. 🦃❤️ #CommunitySupport #Thanksgiving #DelmarvaPower #GivingBack #TeamWork Serena Wilson-Archie, Kevin McKelvey, Robert McPherson, Linda Lamberson, Robert Ciritella, and Pam Long, THANK YOU.

  • For more than three decades, our Gas Operations team has embraced the Thanksgiving spirit by raising funds to provide turkeys and other essentials to those in need. This year was no exception! Through innovative fundraising events like a pie-throwing contest and dunk tank, the team was able to deliver 360 turkeys and 148 Cornish hens to 14 local organizations, including senior centers, churches, and community centers. A big thank you to our team and the retired employees who continue to champion this effort. Together, we are making a difference, one turkey at a time.
