According to recent data from the CBC overdose death rates have spiked dramatically for young adults, rising 34% in four years. We are excited to further our partnership with End Overdose and bring lifesaving Padagis® Naloxone to 43 campuses across the US. Many thanks to Theo Krzywicki and our amazing Padagis LLC team for making this happen.

This week marked a historic milestone that offers hope to families like mine and many more across the nation. Overdose deaths declined by 14.5%, per latest CDC data (June 2023 - June 2024)—the largest drop ever recorded, and the seventh consecutive month of reported decreases. That’s 16,000 fewer lives lost over the last year. That’s more parents tucking in their children, more friends showing up at holiday parties, more communities finding a way forward. This didn’t happen by chance. It’s a testament to countless people working hard, refusing to give up—and it’s a reminder of what’s possible when we come together. The work is far from done. One preventable death is too many. May today’s and future leaders double down on efforts to prevent the next tragedy and keep building on this momentum. https://lnkd.in/gtsyCiDr
