The folks at Action for Boston Community Development, Inc. do great work providing a wide range of services to the most underserved and at-risk residents of Boston -- and they need your help. As of yesterday, ABCD hadn't received a single donation for this season's annual toy drive. ☃️ ABCD needs approximately 6,500 toys to serve at least 800 families this year. We're proud to partner with ABCD's climate equity and impact team headed by James P. Collins IV, MBA. James and his team are working hard to ensure that affordable housing in Boston is energy efficient, sustainable, safe and comfortable for residents. Let's make sure there are presents for these residents this holiday season. Donations can dropped off at ABCD's Dorchester location by Friday during normal business hours. Toy donations can be initiated at https://lnkd.in/eWhKqCB3 Cash donations can be made online at bostonabcd.org/donate

Congratulations to 2Life Communities on receiving the Enterprise Green Communities certification at Coleman House, its 146-unit senior affordable property in Newton, MA. We're proud that our smart building platform is installed in this impressive project.
We are happy to announce that 2Life Communities' Coleman House is now Enterprise Green Communities certified! Coleman House is an affordable housing community for seniors in Newton, MA. This was an occupied rehabilitation, in which units were addressed in stacks-- residents were moved out, their units rehabbed, and moved back in, before moving to the next stacks.

🎉 Congratulations to the team at Trinity Management, LLC - Embue is thrilled to be a part of the Mei Wah Village project, making the building more energy efficient, sustainable, easier to manage -- and a nicer, more comfortable place to live.
Mei Wah Village, one of our senior housing developments in Boston’s Chinatown, is receiving federal funding to improve energy efficiency and resilience to climate change. HUD Acting Secretary Adrianne Todman and Mayor Michelle Wu visited the site to announce the funding, part of the Green and Resilient Retrofit Program in the Inflation Reduction Act. The investment will help fund critical upgrades like new windows, better ventilation, and pest control, making the building healthier and more sustainable. This project highlights the importance of preserving existing affordable housing to address the housing crisis while also ensuring resilience against climate impacts. @trinityfinancialinc #massachusetts #boston #trinitymanagement #trinityproperties #apartment #rentals #propertymanagement #multifamily #realestate #communityevents #chinatown #seniorliving

Boston multifamily owners and operators: BERDO, the city's Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure law, requires buildings over 35,000 sq ft or with over 35 units to reduce greenhouse gas emissions gradually to net zero by 2050. Fines for non-compliance start next year. 😳 Check out our BERDO Playbook for even more info here: https://bit.ly/3S9mEXQ #BERDO #multifamily #climatetech #carbonemissions #energyefficiency
