Elevate Labs is thrilled to welcome two new members to the team! Sharli Jefferson is our new Customer Support Agent. Sharli has a diverse professional background; she recently spent five years at Cash App and was a licensed barber before that. She's passionate about reading, K-Pop, makeup, & pro wrestling, and she's a true foodie with a love of Korean BBQ & birria tacos. Outside of work, you can find Sharli checking out an art museum, playing the saxophone, or spending time with her two cats. 🎶 Tameka Bazile is our new Senior Social Media Manager. Tameka's career in social media began as a side hustle, but evolved as she scaled her business to over six figures. From there, she began working in the media & tech industries full-time in 2021, proceeding to develop multi-million dollar strategies for brands like Amazon Prime, Ally, & Nissan. She loves reading fantasy and dystopian novels, trying new restaurants, binge-watching her favorite shows, and enjoying her mom's Haitian recipes. She's currently finding peace through meditation and sound baths, and you can often find her alongside her American Staffordshire Terrier, Bailey. 🐾 We're excited to have them on board!

There’s a lot of exciting work happening at Elevate Labs this time of year. As we head into the holiday season and the final weeks of 2024, though, we’re also taking time for moments of gratitude. One team member who’s doing a great job of this (and inspiring us along the way)? Jaime Gelpi! Jaime’s not only a stellar content marketer; she’s also a fitness instructor who helps her community find joy through movement. Hope you’ll join us in pressing pause on busy days (and pressing play on Balance’s Gratitude Single, while you’re at it). To our customers, our applicants, and to you, thank you for sharing this moment of gratitude with us.

From coworking to time with loved ones to snuggles with furry friends, we’re filling this time of year with as many joyful and relaxing moments as we can. Wishing you the best week to come. Every October, the team here at Elevate Labs celebrates the spookiest time of year (with a healthy dose of competition thrown in, of course). That’s right, we’re talking about a pumpkin decorating contest! Our team has one challenge — create a showstopping, bone-chilling, gourd-geous creation (and snap a pic to share on Slack). On the line? The candy supply of any trick-or-treater’s dreams. Take a look at some of this year’s entries, let us know which one you think deserves a crown, and from all of us at Elevate Labs, have a Happy Halloween!

A little secret for you, LinkedIn — if you’ve met Elevate Labs, you’ve met Anna Braunsdorf. Anna’s our VP of Content. If you’ve used our apps, read our blog, or checked out our website, you’ve seen some of the incredible work she and her team are doing. What you probably don’t know, though, is that Anna is also: • A volunteer at her local animal shelter • A die-hard Kansas City sports fan • A mom of four (𝘞𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘶𝘱𝘴, 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘦, 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘖𝘍 𝘊𝘖𝘜𝘙𝘚𝘌 𝘞𝘌 𝘈𝘙𝘌.) We’re excited to bring you #InsideElevate and properly introduce Anna!

You know what they say – it’s not where you are; it’s who you’re with. But once in a while, the team here at Elevate Labs likes to have it all. Last week, some of our teammates left their home offices behind and headed to the Windy City for this year’s 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭. We have such a blast at our annual, sun-soaked company meetups (𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺’𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥) that we’ve also started offering full-time employees (and their partners) the chance to come together in an awesome city for a few days of adventure, quality time, and some meaningful in-person collaboration. After three days of team brainstorms, improv shows, baseball games, architecture cruises, walking tours, and (of course) a LOT of good food, we’re back to business as usual. We’ll let the smiles in these photos tell you everything else you need to know. Coworkers you can’t wait to travel with? The chance to show off a place you love or explore somewhere brand new? Deep dish pizza? On a Thursday?! It’s all part of the great thing we've got going on #InsideElevate.

Here at Elevate Labs, we love learning. In case you haven’t noticed, it’s kind of our thing (𝘠𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘶𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘶𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘉𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯’𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶? 𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘢 𝘧𝘦𝘸!). We hire people at the top of their game, but we know that everyone has room to grow. We also know that growth is much easier when it’s supported, so we’re proud to provide each of our full-time team members with an annual Learning Stipend. 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵? 600 bucks a year to spend on anything that furthers skills and abilities related to an individual’s career path. 𝘚𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘭𝘺?! 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘭. We think so! Recently, these stipends have been used for: • Audible subscriptions • A trip to the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament (𝘠𝘦𝘴, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.) • Meditation & mindfulness training • Tons of awesome books & online courses Our mission to improve people’s minds starts right here, #InsideElevate. Comment below and let us know what tools you’re using to learn and grow at work!

The Elevate Labs team looks like Taylor Swift in this light (we’re loving it). Our Social Committee always brings a little extra joy to the month, and August (🎶 ) was no exception. Last week, our most tortured poets (the Elevate Swifties) took some time out of the day to sing, dance, deep dive, and make some *dazzling* friendship bracelets. We’re keeping the joy of this Eras Tour-inspired event going a little longer by trading bracelets, too, because who says remote teams have to feel remote? (𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘮, 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴, 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘣𝘰𝘹!) This is Elevate Labs (Taylor’s Version). #InsideElevate
