"The work we did in Port Susan Bay was only a small portion of the work that is needed to bring the marsh back to the historical productivity as an ecosystem. A week working on a project does not reflect the entire scope of what happens over the entire length of a project's development and execution." 👋 Welcome, Guy and Denali! We are thrilled to welcome Community Engagement Manager Guy and Urban & Educational Farming Manager Denali to the #EarthCorps team. Both Guy and Denali are Specialist Alums (2024). As staff, they will assist the Community & Volunteer Engagement team in building capacity and creating engaging environmental opportunities for the community - including piloting a new urban farming program in 2025 and furthering work in environmental justice.

As a member of the 2024 Corps Cohort, Lily had the opportunity to partner with state and federal agencies to remove toxic creosote-coated logs from Puget Sound's beaches and waters.
