One of the many use cases for deploying #Dusty Robotics is completing layout for hard demo and trenching. On this 46.5K-sq.-ft. project space, we recently used Dusty Robotics to print layout on-site for Saw-cut and Trenching & Stub-up locations for Underground electrical and plumbing . With only two robots and operators, and 2 days to complete layout, efficiency was achieved in terms of accuracy and timeline. The key success was the team being able to stack two activities in the same TAKT area and having a compiled layout available for the Robots to print, reducing re-work. Based in Mountain View, Dusty Robotics is a leader in the robotic layout category and one of the coolest companies in construction tech. If you haven’t checked them out yet, you should! In customer education, half the battle is the marketing around your efforts. I’ve seen many companies pour resources into their coursework, only to leave marketing as an afterthought. Dusty Robotics didn’t make that mistake: They did four things really well to drive traffic and awareness: 1/ Prime placement on their primary website. 2/ A large launch on LinkedIn, with contributions from their executives. 3/ Investment in brand and custom imagery for their courses and academy. 4/ Encouraging new learners to create accounts on-the-fly, as an second option to SSO.
