When is it a smart idea to use AI-generated code? Max Shak, CEO and founder of Zapiy, has experience using AI-generated code and is keenly aware of its upsides and pitfalls: “AI-generated code can be a lifesaver when automating repetitive tasks that don’t require complex problem-solving.” For example, AI can generate boilerplate code for setting up frameworks, APIs, or data pipelines, freeing developers to focus on more strategic aspects of their projects. Michael Berlet, senior software engineer at The Walt Disney Company, works on automation daily. Berlet agrees with Shak that AI can be great for boilerplate implementations such as “database connections, encryption/decryption workflow templates, and context-specific configurations.” Berlet adds that AI can be helpful “when you're trying to learn data structures and algorithms and understand the time complexity and tradeoffs of particular implementations.” This is another way AI-generated code and services can save you time. #DiceCareerAdvice #AICoding #ProgrammingTips

As the threat landscape grows more complex, organizations will prioritize candidates with a hybrid skill set—deep cybersecurity knowledge paired with expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance,” said Danny Brickman, CEO and co-founder at Oasis Security. “This shift will be driven by the need for cybersecurity to be seamlessly integrated into broader enterprise strategies, shifting away from a siloed approach to one that aligns directly with overall business goals.” For a look at five significant cybersecurity trends for 2025, and what these developments mean for the tech and security pros community, read our article in the comments ⬇️ #DiceCareerAdvice #Cybersecurity #CybersecurityTrends
