To support the stream hydrology in communities we serve, Development & Construction Insight (DCI) made a commitment to “Adopt-A-Stream” in the Town of Wake Forest, NC. Our team members are often faced with the realities of stream impacts when developing land with our clients. It is always our focus to mitigate the potential effects that construction activities have on natural habitats. We found this to be a great opportunity to be proactive in taking a hands-on approach to environmental stewardship. By taking an active role, we met local goals, improved the environment, enjoyed the outdoors and bonded as a team. #WakeForestCares

At the Triangle CREW holiday luncheon, Emma Kessinger spoke briefly about her experience attending the 2024 CREW Network Convention. Inspired by the quote “get to the top without bringing anyone else down”, she reminded the audience to encourage and celebrate peers for their successes, while we focus on our own professional journeys. She emphasized the importance of making genuine connections and embracing diversity without judgement. Several of our Development & Construction Insight (DCI) members attended, not only to support Emma, but also to learn more about CREW Network. We enjoyed a delicious lunch with delightful company!

It’s safe to say our Development & Construction Insight (DCI) team had a blast at the Capital City Shootout that benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Triangle. On this beautiful, but chilly morning, Drake Landing was a perfect location for our fearsome foursome to practice their skills at this 7th annual sporting clays tournament. We may not have taken home any prizes, but we were “pumped to participate”!

The Development & Construction Insight (DCI) Indy Team attended the Midwest Healthcare Engineering Conference held at the Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis on November 11th and 12th. It was an excellent opportunity to network with industry peers and discover innovative ideas shaping the field. A highlight of the event was the keynote speech by former IndyCar and Formula 1 driver, Derek Daly. His discussion on teamwork and perseverance offered valuable insights that we can weave into our personal and professional lives. 🏎️ #MWHCEC24

Last week, Development & Construction Insight (DCI) proudly came together to quite literally “Build Hope”. With the support and partnership of Roc Solid Foundation Solid Foundation our team got hands-on to assemble a playhouse for Jamie, a sweet 2-year-old boy battling Leukemia. It was such a rewarding moment when we were introduced to his family. They were presented with this powerful plaque to remind them what Cancer CANNOT do! Roc Solid believes that Play Defeats Cancer, because when kids are playing, cancer is the last thing on their minds. When given the opportunity to sign our names, we highlighted Jamie’s interest in dinosaurs and farm animals, along with inspiring messages. We hope these words of encouragement will be a continued reminder of our support. We felt so blessed to surround this family with love, so they know they are not fighting alone. Swipe to see the progression of our build! #whathopelookslike
