The Louisville Apartment Association Presidential Gala is a celebration of our industry’s hard work, and this year we were thrilled that a few outstanding individuals and properties from Denton Floyd were honored. Congratulations to Patriot Crossing Apartments for winning Property Improvement of the Year, April Douglas, our Vice President of Operations, for being recognized as Multi-site Supervisor of the Year, and Mary Hamlyn, our Director of Operations, for earning the Shining Star Property Member of the Year award. At Denton Floyd, giving back is part of who we are, and each year we team up with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville to help families achieve their dream of homeownership. This year, team members from across all department joined forces to install siding on a new home in Downtown Louisville. Working side by side, we were able to make a meaningful impact in our community. Supporting Habitat for Humanity aligns perfectly with our mission of Building Better Communities, and we’re already looking forward to the next build!

Platform Real Estate Group, a company comprised of industry professionals from Thornton Capital and Denton Floyd Real Estate Group, hosted a groundbreaking for Platform Park at I-65 on October 23, 2024. The industrial park located in Clark County, Indiana is designed to consist of five Class A industrial facilities totaling 1,124,000 leasable square feet with construction for Phase I already underway. Our latest DF Development Day was filled with learning, team building and fun! From in-depth discussions on fair housing, accounting and customer service to the hands-on Marshmallow Challenge—the day was packed with training and activities that put our skills to the test!
