Today marks the beginning of the Pauma Heritage Quikstop! We were honored to break ground on the Pauma Heritage Quikstop alongside the Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians and Oak and Stone Development. This new development will provide a convenient and welcoming place for residents of the Pauma reservation, guests, and travelers to rest, refuel, and refresh. What's To Come: Convenience Store: Stocked with locally grown produce, necessities, and more! Gas Station: Fuel up with ease at the pumps. Starbucks Coffee (Drive-through): Enjoy your favorite Starbucks beverages. EV Charging Stations: Charge your electric vehicles quickly and efficiently. Building Bright Futures! Hesperia, California is now home to Pathways to College K-8 Charter school! This ground-up charter school spans 25 acres and features a fully accessible, multi-building campus to provide a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for students to learn and grow. The campus includes a 21,000 SF main building with administration offices, a teacher’s lounge and kitchen, a professional-grade prep kitchen, a multi-purpose room, a library, a science lab, and a health services area. It also features a designated TK/Kindergarten area with classrooms and a play area, 18 modular classrooms in Pods of 3, and modular bathrooms. Outdoor areas include multiple playgrounds, sports courts, and two large turf sports fields. We are excited to see the positive impact the school will have on the future of education and the community in Hesperia. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this project a success! The Big Valley Market & Fuel, a brand-new rest-stop complex on the Big Valley Band of Pomo Indians reservation in Lakeport, CA, recently celebrated its soft opening! Tribal officials, elders, and members invited the Dempsey team for the soft opening and participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Those in attendance had the opportunity to tour the market, which features a wide selection of snacks, beverages, and essential travel items to meet the needs of the residents and travelers. Starbucks also welcomed guest by handing out delicious pastries and freshly roasted coffee. We’re excited to announce the completion of the Otay Border Crossing (OBX) industrial project! This impressive industrial campus is located in Otay Mesa, right on the California/Mexico border. The project includes four buildings totaling 352,417 square feet, a 3.6-acre outdoor storage yard, and all associated site work on 26.1 acres. Key features include 32’ and 36’ clear heights, 90 loading docks, underground stormwater detention systems, and conditioned office space in each building. The ground-up construction of Calexico Gateway Center South is officially complete! Phase 1 has laid the foundation with grading, site work, and the construction of four Class A industrial buildings totaling over 350,000 SF.  Specifics include 32’ clear heights, 142 loading docks, 931 KW of solar power, fully insulated and climate-controlled warehouse space, reflective roof, covered parking, raw water site irrigation system, and reduced light pollution design.    When fully completed, this center will feature more than 1 million SF of industrial space alongside multiple fast-food restaurants, a hotel, a coffee shop, and a gas station.
