  • Delphinus Engineering is looking for qualified Marine Mechanics, Marine Electricians, and Marine Pipefitters to support the US Naval fleet in Norfolk, VA. A Secret Security Clearance (previously held or current) is required for these positions. Additionally, Submarine experience is preferred, however, US Navy carrier experience (nuclear) is acceptable. Delphinus Engineering supports the HM&E (hull, mechanical & electrical) branch of the US Navy. Our team performs repair, maintenance, and modernization projects onboard US Navy vessels throughout the CONUS and OCONUS. Additionally, we have personnel who support the US Navy at various naval facilities throughout the country. We provide expert services in Cyber Operations and Security, Marine Engineering and Design, Marine Services, and Business Management.     #USNavyPhotosoftheDay 1️⃣ Sailors and Marines man the rails aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) as it returns to Naval Air Station North Island after being deployed to U.S. 3rd Fleet, U.S. 7th Fleet, and U.S. 5th Fleet areas of operations. 2️⃣ Senior Chief Musician Casey Campbell performs with the U.S. Navy Band during the command's annual holiday concert. The Navy Band hosted three concerts pay tribute to Sailors deployed around the world during the holiday season. 3️⃣ USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) transits the Surigao strait, in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. 4️⃣ USS Cole (DDG 67) returns to Naval Station Norfolk after a deployment in support of maritime security and stability efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operations.

With an area of operations spanning more than 124 million square kilometers, U.S. 7th Fleet operates 50-70 ships and submarines, 150 aircraft and more than 27,000 Sailors and Marines at any given time.
