Wow - we’ve had some great programs lately. Last week, we heard about that state of our region’s business from Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce President Chris Kershner. The Monday before that, it was Dayton Public School District with David E. Lawrence, Ph.D. Today, we heard from great local restaurateurs behind Lilly’s and Amber Rose. We also gave a grant from the Rotary Club of Dayton Foundation to the Greater Edgemont Community Coalition today. Can’t make a meeting? Stream via Zoom so you don’t miss out!

Today is World Mental Health Day, an opportunity to acknowledge the critical importance of mental health. The Rotary Club of Dayton is committed to improving mental health in our community, so much so that we focused our $50,000 Signature Grant on mental health this year. We proudly awarded our 2024 Signature Grant to Daybreak Inc. to support their incredible work improving mental health outcomes for at-risk youth in our community. We know that mental health matters - especially in our uncertain world. Celebrate World Mental Health Day by prioritizing mental health in your own busy schedule. And if you feel overwhelmed or need help, reach out - to a friend, a colleague, or a certified professional. Mental health is too important to ignore. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters
