Your contribution goes directly into youth leaders like Geoffrey Huang, who is another high school student involved with Chinatown Literacy Project (our free ESL program for Chinese-speaking adults) for his second school year. He returned this year to run the program again as a coordinator with his team and to expand outreach to the Chinatown community about CLP. 📖 📣 Help us meet our #GivingTuesday goal! Whether it’s $5, $10, or $50, you can donate to our campaign on Venmo (@cyinyc); cyinyc.org/donate; or Benevity/other employer donation portal

✨Today’s the day! Every dollar helps expand our programs and support youth leaders across the city like Katie Lee, who is a high school student involved with Chinatown Literacy Project (our free ESL program for Chinese-speaking adults) for her second school year. Katie first joined as a language partner for adult language learners to practice their English and has returned this year to run the program as a coordinator with her team. 📖 📣 Every donation up to $1,000 will be matched, so every dollar counts! You can donate at cyinyc.org/donate #youthempowerment #youthleadership #chinatown #chinatownnyc #givingtuesday #givingtuesdaycampaign #englishliteracy

For the past 24 years, CYI has created a community of over 250 youth staff and 5,000 youth participants, who have become leaders in Chinatown and beyond. All of our programs are run entirely by high school or college students, who receive training, a budget, and a playbook to manage the programs’ day-to-day. Your donations make a direct impact across our four youth leadership programs. Help us today on #GivingTuesday to provide stipends and leadership training to the next generation of change makers at cyinyc.org/donate or Venmo @cyinyc. #youthempowerment #youthleadership #chinatown #chinatownnyc

Building Bridges Through Community Partnerships ✨ Apex for Youth partnered with CACF: Coalition for Asian American Children and Families to host a special in-person edition of their monthly youth serving staff network meeting. Through activities like the River of [Your Organization] exercise, we reflected on the twists, turns, and milestones of our journeys in the nonprofit world. This gathering brought together leaders and advocates from incredible organizations — including CACF: Coalition for Asian American Children and Families, Garden of Hope, South Asian Youth Action (SAYA), Chinatown Youth Initiatives, Charles B. Wang Community Health Center, Women for Afghan Women (WAW), Glow Cultural Center — to connect, share experiences, and celebrate the impact we’re making together. From thoughtful reflections to creative moments and candid connections, this event was a powerful reminder of the beauty and growth that comes with navigating the challenges of our work. Through events like this, we’re reminded of the power of partnership in driving meaningful change. A heartfelt thank you to all our community partners and Apex staff for making this evening so impactful. Together, we continue to shape brighter futures for AAPI youth. 🫶 🎥: Clara Hung #AAPIYouth #Nonprofit #Community #Collaboration #Apexforyouth
