I often see posts that say "I'm a private money lender" or "private money lenders" in general. Nothing can be further from the TRUTH. Private lending implies an individual will take money from their bank account and lend it to you. Think about this, how many people do you know that can loan out a few million dollars out their bank account. Maybe Elon Musk, Warren Buffet and a few others can but the vast majority of so-called "private money lenders" are NOT lending their own money. They are using the term to make you think it's exclusive and they can offer better terms. TOTALLY false. As we head in to 2025, think wisely about people misrepresenting themselves for personal profit.
